Safety & Comfort Checks
WARNING: When using the carrier, constantly monitor your child.
WARNING: Ensure your child’s face is not pressed against the fabric of the carrier or
your body.
WARNING: Ensure your child’s chin is not positioned onto its chest as its breathing
maybe restricted at all times.
WARNING: Ensure that your child is securely positioned in the carrier.
Do not use a carrier to carry more than one baby at a time.
Examine your carrier carefully before each use.
Do not use the carrier near open flames.
We recommend that you have
someone with you when practising
using any new carrier, until you feel
confident doing it by yourself.
When back carrying, please practice
over a soft surface such as a bed,
until you feel confident.
When tightening the straps, try
gently bouncing to encourage baby
to sit in the carrier.
Is baby’s airway free?
Baby should be high on your
body and tight against you.
Do not use in place of a car seat in any moving vehicle.
Babies with respiratory conditions can face additional risks. As can a baby with any
form of illness. Always be extra vigilant when using the carrier with an unwell baby.
Baby should be upright and close enough for you to kiss the top of their head.
Do not leave baby unsupervised with the carrier.
Do not use the carrier during any sporting activities.
Do not use a carrier under the influence of alcohol, drugs or prescription
medications which may impair your judgement or make you drowsy.
Failure to pay full and complete attention to your baby can result in serious
injury or death.
SnugiWraps recommends that you follow the
T.I.C.K.S. Rule for Safe Babywearing.

For small babies, tie the waist
straps higher on your torso, just
below your bust.
The carrier must be tight against
your body so that when you lean,
there is no gap between you and
baby.
There are instruction videos
available on our website and at
www.YouTube.com/SnugiWraps.
Baby should be in a seated
position with their knees higher
than their bottom.
Washing Instructions
This carrier is 100% Cotton with
polyester padding in the straps. To
prolong the life of your carrier, we
recommend spot cleaning with water

be machine washed at 40 degrees. Airdrying away from direct sunlight is
recommended but the carrier can be
tumble dried on a low setting.
Ensure the top straps are not
digging in the your neck.
