PKU Anamix Junior PKU Anamix Junior GMS Pending 3 ACBS 3 Description PKU Anamix Junior is a phenylalanine free powder drink mix containing a balanced mixture of the other essential and nonessential amino acids, carbohydrate, fat (including docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)), vitamins, minerals, trace elements and fibre. PKU Anamix Junior is available in Neutral, Chocolate, Orange, Berry and Vanilla flavours. Indications For the dietary management of phenylketonuria (PKU) in children aged 1–10 years. Preparation and administration Pour the required volume of cold water into a glass or cup. Add the prescribed quantity of PKU Anamix Junior and shake until powder has dissolved. The recommended dilution is one sachet (36g) of PKU Anamix Junior made up with 100ml of water to a final volume of approximately 126ml. Water or permitted drinks should be offered at the same time as PKU Anamix Junior to ensure adequate fluid intake. Best served chilled. Storage Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Once reconsituted, keep refrigerated and use within 24 hours.
