NEUQUA VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT PARKING RULES, REGULATIONS AND EXPECTATIONS
PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY AND CAREFULLY
Neuqua Valley is a selfpark facility. Any vehicle that is parked at Neuqua Valley High School is parked at the owner’s risk. The owner, alone, is responsible for parking and locking the vehicle. NVHS is not responsible, nor does it assume liability for any damage caused by fire, theft, casualty or any other cause whatsoever with respect to any vehicle or its contents while parked at Neuqua Valley High School.
School authorities, including the School Resource Officers, have the right to check, search and enter vehicles used to travel to or from school if there is reasonable suspicion of violation of school rules and regulations.

The decal must be displayed in the top left corner of the rear window. Exceptions to the placement of the decal must be approved through the Class House located in B201.
The parking permit (sticker) provides parking ONLY for the student it is issued to. A parking permit may not be shared or transferred to another student or siblingto do so is to use school property without permission, and subject to discipline sanctions for misuse/theft of school property.
Only one decal will be issued per student and must be adhered to the registered vehicle. It must be permanently affixed. It may not be taped or laminated with tape. Multiple decals may not be purchased. If you arrive to school and cannot find parking in allotted areas including the football or tennis lot, please park in the visitor’s lot and report it immediately to the Class House located in B201.
We may issue one day family emergency or temporary parking permits due to serious medical or transportation concerns. It is the student’s responsibility to request a temporary permit in advance and to fully explain the justification to the Dean.
Vehicles without a decal, those illegally parked, or parked in an unauthorized area are subject to the following consequences:

Car Towed at owner’s expense
Forms of noncompliance with parking rules, regulations and expectations subject to disciplinary action and/or suspension of parking privileges, include but are not limited to:
Inappropriate conduct such as reckless driving, speeding, not yielding for the buses at the end of the school day, etc…
Loitering in the parking lot before and after school
Excessive tardiness and truancies to school
Entering a vehicle unauthorized during the school day
Leaving the building unauthorized Leaving campus unauthorized Using the perimeter drive behind school
Smoking is prohibited in vehicles.
Students must heed unauthorized and restricted areas. These are posted or marked and include fire lanes, staff lots, bus areas, visitor parking, reserved parking, and areas along islands outside of parking spaces. Vehicles parked in these areas are subject to immediate towing at the owner’s expense.
Students may only enter and exit the school parking lot via 95th street. Use of the access road to the Gold Campus and parking at the Gold Campus is a violation and is prohibited. If you need a “replacement” sticker because of the sale of the vehicle, accident or new vehicle purchase, you must bring in the current sticker BEFORE a replacement sticker is issued and $10.00 for the cost of the replacement sticker.

STUDENT SPACES ARE STRIPED IN GOLD AND ARE LOCATED WEST OF THE MAIN ENTRANCE (SKYLANE).
IF YOU HAVE A PERMIT TO PARK IN RESERVED SPACES (SENIOR ADVISORS & GOLD BUILDING PE LEADERS), YOU MUST PARK IN THESE AREAS.
DO NOT PARK IN STAFF PARKING (STRIPED IN WHITE). DO NOT PARK IN THE STAFF LOT BY THE POOL ENTRANCE – DOOR 46 LOT.
DO NOT PARK IN 15 MINUTE PARKING.
DO NOT PARK IN THE BUS LANES.
DO NOT PARK IN ANY AREA BUSINESS LOTS – THIS STICKER IS FOR THE NVHS MAIN BUILDING ‐ STUDENT PARKING LOTS ONLY!
