PROJECT REQUIREMENT
The planters had to be emptied out and re-waterproofed with a
durable and root-resistant solution.
SIKA SOLUTION
Sarnafil G476-20 was selected to tank the planters, due to its
inherent root resistance, heatwelded laps, and the ability to be
loose-laid directly over the existing bitumen membrane without
removing it.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The planters of this apartment complex had leaked considerably
since their installation, and had already received two failed
waterproofing applications. The bitumen membrane used the
second time resulted in plant root attack and subsequent paths for
water migration down onto the basement carpark.
