This is your treatment and we want you to feel
comfortable. It is customary to completely
disrobe for your spa services, although you may
wear a swimsuit or undergarment if you prefer.
You will be given the opportunity to disrobe
with your privacy maintained.
Communication is the key to getting what you
want out of your service. Before your service
begins, we encourage you to communicate
with your therapist the areas you would like to
focus on and any areas to be avoided. During
your massage, let your therapist know if you feel
any discomfort. Keep in mind that bodywork is
similar to exercise - toxins are released from the
muscles and may cause some soreness. This is

We encourage you to make reservations at
least two weeks in advance to make certain
the preferred treatments or therapists are
available. Please have your credit card
information ready to reserve your spa
experience. Should you have special requests,
pregnancy, physical ailments, disabilities or
allergies, please notify your spa coordinator
at time of booking and your service provider
at the time of your treatment. If you have
a preference regarding the gender of your
therapist, please let us know when making
your reservation. We will make every effort to
accommodate your request.
You are welcome to enjoy the facility
throughout the day however we invite you
to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your
scheduled spa appointments. This will allow
time to receive your locker allocation, change
into your provided robe and sandals, enjoy
the sauna and pools, and shower. We have
also created a complimentary Boathouse
Spa Cleansing Therapy to begin your spa
experience.

Arriving late will limit the time of your
treatment, thus lessening the effectiveness
of your relaxation. As a courtesy to the
next guest, your treatment will end on time
regardless of when you begin.

To enhance your spa experience we provide
a private locker, robe and sandals as well as
grooming amenities. We have separate women’s
and men’s locker areas - we also have a co-ed
steam sauna and seaside hot mineral pools.
For your enjoyment we offer fresh fruit,
assorted teas and filtered water.
If you have a history of high or low blood
pressure, heart conditions or pregnancy, please
consult a physician prior to your visit. The
consumption of alcohol before, during and
directly after a treatment or use of the mineral
pools is not recommended.
Our fitness facility includes various cardio
equipment, strength equipment and free
weights. For your safety, we require our guests
to wear closed toe shoes and workout clothing.

The treatments you select are reserved especially
for you. We ask that you provide at least 12 hours
advance notice if you need to re-schedule or
cancel your appointment. The Boathouse Spa
does have a cancellation policy; failure to fulfill
your scheduled treatment time will result in a full
charge of the service.

§§ Guests of the Boathouse Spa must be
at least 16 years of age or accompanied
by an adult.
§§ The Spa and mineral pools are
non-smoking facilities.
§§ For our guests’ relaxation, and to
maintain serenity, cellular phone use is not
permitted. Please conclude all calls prior
to entering the Spa. We appreciate your
understanding.
§§ Although a locker will be provided, we
recommend that you do not bring
jewellry and valuables to the Spa.
