A panoramic tour rich in historical and cultural interest from Castello di Masino along the
Ivrea Moraine (Serra morenica), Valle Elvo, Valle di Oropa, Valle Cervo, Oasi Zegna, Valsessera and Valsesia to the slopes of Monte Rosa. A whole week of mountain biking along a natural alpine balcony with breathtaking views across the Po Valley plains and the alps from
Monviso to Monte Rosa.

PROGRAM
Day 1
Meet up in Castello di Masino (Caravino)
Start from the historic seat of the counts of Valperga, now run by FAI (Fondo Ambiente Italiano)
to Lago di Viverone and Castello di Roppolo. Up
onto the Ivrea Moraine (Serra Morenica) and
through the villages of Zimone, Magnano, Torrazzo and Andrate to Valle Elvo.

Day 2
To Santuario di Oropa (UNESCO Heritage) along
the panoramic Tracciolino road. Uphill to the
impressive Galleria di Rosazza (tunnel) and down
to Santuario di San Giovanni di Andorno.

Day 3
The route now goes down into the heart of Valle
Cervo, passes the picturesque village of Rosazza
and climbs towards Oasi Zegna and Bielmonte.
Day 5
To Alagna on the Valsesia bike track. Back along
the valley bo9om sec8ons to Scopello, a:er
which shu9le to Mera. Back to Bielmonte.

Rest and leisure, and discovering Oasi Zegna

From Bielmonte back to Masino.
By shu9le or mountain bike along a prevalently
downhill route through Santuario di San Giovanni di Andorno, Santuario di Oropa and La Trappa,
and then on the Tracciolino road to the Ivrea
Moraine (Serra morenica) and thence to Lago di
Viverone and Castello di Masino.
