Catriona McPherson
Catriona was born in Scotland and lived there until 2010. The transplanted Californian
is a former bank clerk, library worker and academic, and is the author of the multiaward-winning Dandy Gilver detective series, set in Scotland in the 1920s. She also
writes award-winning contemporary standalones including AS SHE LEFT IT and THE
DAY SHE DIED.
Catriona is president of Sisters in Crime, National, and a member of Mystery Writers of
America, The Crimewriters’ Association, The Society of Authors and Scottish PEN.
