ADVANCED MARKETING YOURSELF THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA. Learn about social media, why use
it, simple best practices, and investigate companies to connect with the “right people” through LinkedIn. Attend
this seminar on 18 June, 0900-1100.
ALTERNATE VA BRIEFING. This brief on 19 June, 0800-1530, is ONLY for those who meet an approved
exemption out of TAP & others who will be outprocessing before they can complete the next TAP workshop.
CAPSTONE DD Form 2958. Prior to separation or retirement, service members must attend Capstone which
validates and verifies that the service member is prepared to be successful following their military service by
producing documentation that they meet all career readiness standards. Appointment times are Wednesdays from
0800-1100.
CAR BUYING STRATEGIES. Are you planning to buy a car soon? What can you afford? What style car is best
for you? For answers to these questions and more information, attend this class on 10 June, 0800-1100.
EDUCATION TRACK. Service members pursuing college education will receive guidance to prepare for the
college application process. The education track addresses such topics as identifying one's educational goals,
education funding, and researching and comparing institutions. Transitioning military within 2 years of retiring or
separating military members within 1 year of separating have priority. Contact the following Education Counselors

[email protected] or call 402-294-5716. This 2-day workshop is on 9 & 10 June, 0800-1630.
FEDERAL JOB SEARCH. Learn techniques for searching federal jobs and writing your federal resume for selfnomination. Attend this workshop from 0800-1100 on 18 June.
GROWING YOUR MONEY is designed to help people realize their dreams by learning the financial skills
necessary to maintain a spending plan, use checking and savings accounts, and build or repair credit. This class runs
two Tuesdays on 2 & 9 June, 1300-1600.
HEART LINK. This exciting program increases spouse awareness of the mission, customs, traditions, protocol,
support resources, and available services. It is offered on 10 June, 0830-1530, and includes free lunch and
reimbursement for childcare. Seats are limited, so call 294-4329 for reservations.
HOME BUYING WORKSHOP.
Are you considering buying a home?

advantages/disadvantages? Can you afford it? Where do you start with credit and financing, and what does it take
to get a loan? For answers, attend the workshop on 12 June, 0800-1200.

PREDEPLOYMENT BRIEFING. Mandatory every Wednesday, 1500-1600, for 30+ day deployment or TDY.
PRESEPARATION BRIEFING. Mandatory briefing for all separating/retiring personnel. The briefing defines
benefits and available services. Completion of the required DD Form 2648 is accomplished during the briefing.
Briefings are held in Bldg C, Room 206. Call 402-294-4329 to schedule.
REINTEGRATION assists in the transition from the deployed environment. Offered Monday-Friday at 1130.
RESUME WORKSHOP. Assists individuals in preparing a resume, 9 June, 0800-1100.
RIGHT START. Base briefings for personnel new to Offutt, 3 June, 0730-1130, at the Patriot Club.
SMOOTH MOVE helps families plan for a PCS move. Class meets 16 June, 1300-1530.
TECHNICAL TRAINING TRACK is designed to define technical career goals, identify required credentials, find
career technical training opportunities, identify local veteran resources, and utilize VA education benefits. Register
to attend this program on 16 & 17 June, 0800-1630.
TRANSITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (TAP). This program assists separating or retiring military members
transitioning into civilian life. The 5-day program is scheduled for 1-5 June and 22-26 June from 0800-1630. Call
