Workshop Brochure Spring April – July 2015
Welcome to Oh Sew Sweet’s Spring Brochure 2015
Once again workshops have been very busy so a big thank you to all our lovely loyal
customers old and new. We are now into our second year and couldn’t do it without you all!
Exciting times ahead in 2015 as we welcome Jane on board as our new Assistant Manager
and preparations are underway for our new shop opening at The Hut in Wombwell. It will have
its very own tea/coffee shop and classes will be replicated wherever possible. We anticipate
these to start around May/June 2015. We will notify everyone once dates are confirmed.
Our customers seem to like our range of classes so far and our aim is to offer an exciting and
varied programme of classes and workshops based on this feedback. Courses run from
Monday to Saturday throughout the year and we now have late nights on Tuesday,
Wednesday and Thursday with the occasional Sunday too! If you have an interest in a subject
you would like us to offer please let us know.
We love the community feel that has developed within our shop and if you are not part of it we
hope you will be soon. Our emphasis is on sewing for pleasure in an encouraging, relaxing
environment where you can meet new friends. We are not about creating perfection but
learning a new skill and being proud to walk away with a lovely handmade item.
We have regular talented teachers, both local and from further afield, that offer classes in
patchwork, quilting and sewing for all levels. We supplement these with guest teachers,
please contact us if you are interested in running courses. Knowing where to start with a
class and with so many options to choose from can make it difficult to select the right one!
Please feel free to ring us or call into the shop if you need help and advice. If you are
interested but cannot find the right course or workshop or perhaps the timings do not fit in with
your busy lifestyle just let us know and we will try to be flexible. We have a number of Sewing
machines available if you don’t have a machine for the duration of your chosen workshop.
Please ask at the time of booking.
Thanks again for your continued support.
