o Always go places in pairs, never travel outside the arena or hotel by

CSU Parking Services Parking
The South Garage operated by CSU Parking Services, offers new clean safe state of the art parking
for up to 623 vehicles. The garage is located on East 21st street between Carnegie and Prospect.
Special event parking rates will be posted. The South Garage will be the place to park when visiting
the Wolstein Center. See campus map
Parking for Disabled
During Wolstein events, parkers with state issued disabled logo license plates, placards, or hangtags,
are directed to park in the access drive on the north side of the Wolstein Center. The drive is
accessed from Prospect Avenue. This area has 26 parking spaces.
Private Parking Operators and On Street Parking
Several privately owned and operated parking lots are within walking distance of the Wolstein Center.
These lots are not operated by CSU. Rates vary by day of week, time of day, lot location, and
event(s). Several of the closer lots are located on Prospect Avenue, East 18th Street, Carnegie
Avenue, and Central Avenue.
Limited City of Cleveland metered parking is available on both Carnegie and Prospect Avenues.
Parking is restricted to posted times and duration. Evening (after rush hour) parking is available on
East 18th street. There is no street parking on East 21st. On street parking is sometimes prohibited
due to weather conditions or traffic control. Please note that CSU does not manage nor control on
street parking.

Parking Services Office is open from 8 AM to 6 PM Monday through Friday during the academic year.
A Special Note
Please be cautious when pulling into area parking lots. Do not pay individuals who do not have proper
identification i.e. wearing a parking uniform or identification badge. There have been incidents where
scam artists have posed as parking lot attendants in order to collect monies from unsuspecting
visitors. Parkers should always expect a correct receipt or ticket to show proof of valid payment.
When parking, please do not leave any valuables in sight and lock your vehicle.

OVERNIGHT TRIPS
STANDARD OF CONDUCT
Signatures below indicate the acceptance of the following rules as a conditions of an
overnight trip:
● Students must follow all school rules including alcohol and drug policies, and dress
code.
● Students may not purchase/possess alcohol for any reason, not even as a gift for
their parents. Students may not accept alcohol as gifts for themselves or their
parents from the host families.
● Students’ luggage and rooms may be searched randomly as required by
circumstances during the trip.
● Students may not go out alone at anytime.
● Students must stay in their own rooms after the established curfew time. There will
be at least on room check a night to ensure that students are in their own rooms.
● In the event of serious misconduct or behavior that is detrimental to the smooth
functioning of the group, a student may be sent home unescorted before the end of
the tour at the parents’ expense.

● A building administrator will attend the parent/student final planning meeting to
emphasize the school rules and consequences if the students do not follow them.
● Olentangy Local School students will be housed with at least one chaperone per floor of
student. Tour companies will make every effort to ensure this request. In the event that
a chaperone from Olentangy Local Schools cannot be on each floor of students, it is the
request to utilize the company’s tour director to cover said floor. If no other
arrangements are possible, said floor will be covered by a chaperone from another
school traveling with Olentangy Local School students.
● During the Spanish language immersion homestay, chaperones will be housed with
families within the same city as students and will have daily contact with the students.
● During the French language immersion homestay, chaperones will be lodged in close
proximity, will have regular contact, and will be available via telephone with students.
