As the end of Lent gets closer, you are encouraged to use these opportunities for grace while you can! SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION is available this Tuesday and Wednesday, March 31st and April 1st at 7:00 p.m. HOLY THURSDAY: Mass of the Lord’s Supper will be celebrated on April 2nd at 7:00 p.m. followed by a procession to the repository. Adoration at the repository will be held after the procession until midnight. GOOD FRIDAY: Celebration of the Passion, Communion, and Adoration of the Cross will be held at 3:00 p.m. Stations of the Cross and Veneration of the Cross will be held at 7:00 p.m. HOLY SATURDAY: Food blessing will be at 11:00 a.m. in the church. The Vigil Mass will be celebrated at 7:00 p.m. There will be no confession or 5:00 p.m. Mass. PLEASE NOTE: There is no morning Mass on Holy Thursday, Good Friday or Holy Saturday. EASTER SUNDAY: Mass will be celebrated at 8:30, 10:00 and 11:30 a.m. EASTER EGG HUNT The Jr. CYO and Teen Life will host an Easter Egg Hunt today, Sunday, March 29th after the 11:30 a.m. Mass. BAKE SALE The Sodality of Our Lady of the Rosary will host a Bake Sale this weekend, March 28/29 following all the Masses. HOLY THURSDAY The celebration of the Lord’s Supper on Holy Thursday concludes with a procession of transfer of the Blessed Sacrament to the “Repository”. This Holy Thursday, we are inviting everyone who will be in church that evening to join in the procession. We offer a special invitation to all the children of the parish to join with Jesus as part of this wonderful celebration. Children are asked to wear their “Sunday Best” and meet in the church hall no later than 6:30 p.m. All Altar Servers are also invited to take a special role in this service and be vested in your serving robes. Altar Servers should report to the Baptism area and quietly wait for directions from Father Brennan. EASTER DECORATING COMMITTEE Your help will be needed after the 7:00 p.m. Good Friday Stations of the Cross on April 3rd. We ask the faithful team of decorators to mark your calendar and invite anyone else who is interested to come as well. PRE-JORDAN Parents and godparents presenting a child for Baptism need to attend a preparation class in order to be properly informed about the meaning of the Sacrament of Baptism. The next class will be held on Monday, April 6th at 7:00 p.m. in the last classroom in the parish hall. To register, call Mrs. Coxson at 610-384-5560. PLEASE NOTE: Do not assume any date for baptism before confirming the date with Father Brennan. Before any date is finalized, all forms and eligibility letters need to be delivered to the rectory. EUCHARISTIC ADORATION Everyone is invited to join in the all-day Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament which is offered on the last Monday of each month. Our next Eucharistic Adoration will be held tomorrow, Monday, March 30th. The Blessed Sacrament is exposed after the 7:00 a.m. Mass and will remain exposed for adoration until 7:30 p.m. The Rosary will be prayed in common at 7:00 p.m. followed by the St. Jude Novena and Benediction at 7:30 p.m. Come and spend some time before our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament! SODALITY The Sodality meeting will feature a Covered Dish Dinner on Tuesday, April 14th in the parish hall. The main meat entrée and drinks will be provided. Side dishes and desserts will be needed. The nomination of officers will also be held at this meeting. FIRST HOLY COMMUNION There will be a practice for First Holy Communion on Saturday, April 25th at 9:00 a.m. Please meet in the hall at 8:45 a.m. First Holy Communion will be celebrated on Saturday, May 2nd at 10:00 a.m. The children are to report to the hall by 9:30 a.m. All necessary paperwork is due to the rectory as soon as possible. PARENTS’ NIGHT OUT The next “Movie Night” for all children of Our Lady of the Rosary parish and Holy Rosary Early Learning Center will be held on Friday, April 17th in the parish hall. Dinner (pizza) will be served at 6:00 p.m. and the movie presentation at 7:00 p.m. The cost is $20 for dinner and a movie or $10 per child for just the movie; $50 per family. Bring the children in their pajamas with their sleeping bags and pillows to enjoy the evening. Enjoy a night out while your children are too. Friends are welcome. Children do not need to be Holy Rosary students. All proceeds benefit the Early Learning Center. BIBLE STUDY The Bible Timeline: The Story of Salvation is a fascinating Bible Study that will take you on a journey through the entire Bible. Mary’s Tea th April 26 1:00 p.m. Parish Hall The Sodality of Our Lady of the Rosary is holding a Mary’s Tea - a day of fellowship, song, prayer, lunch, and, of course, tea!! Women and girls are invited to enjoy this event. This year, we are encouraging participants to wear spring or summer hats, as well as, bringing their own tea cups. Don’t procrastinate, only 120 tickets are available and walk-ins cannot be accommodated. Tickets for women are $10 and girls ages 12 and under are $5.
