The Omniled is a smart street light system 100%
self powered by Wind and Solar energy, that it’s
completely integrated into an unique minimalistic
design that can blend in from the most modern
urban scenario for future Smart Cities to the wildest
landscape.
A silent 300Wp wind turbine and a 60Wp
integrated solar photovoltaic panel are the two
power sources of the device.
The power capacity of the device not only provides
power for the LED, as it can also power additional
small electronics like Wi-Fi routers, IP surveillance
cameras, weather stations and so on. All this
electronics can be stored and protected by the
weather proof outer shell.
The Omniled can be installed in a completely
off-grid and standalone setup with no need
for infrastructures for power transmission or
alternatively the device can be installed in an
on-grid setup for some other demanding power
consuming applications like mobile telecom
small cells or feeding the grid with excess power
produced at certain hours of the day.
