HOW TO SIGN UP - Forms are available on our website at www.OrangeDayCamp.org or from troop leaders
1) Complete all required forms:
 Girls grades K-7th, Pixie & Boy campers use the Camper Registration Form
 Adults use the Adult Day Camp Volunteer Form
 Staff Aides (youth 8-12th) two forms are required: Staff Aide Day Camp Registration Form (to be completed by parents) and the
Staff Aide Day Camp Volunteer Application (completed by the youth applicant)).
 ALL who attend day camp (campers, Staff Aides, Pixies, boys and adults, including field trip day volunteers) MUST also submit a
child or adult Health History form.
 To become a Girl Scout Responsible Adult: go to http://www.girlscoutsoc.org/volunteers-change-girls-lives; follow the instructions
to 1) complete the Application and Background Screening and 2) Register as a Girl Scout adult member.
2) Submit required forms. Either:
A. If your troop is attending - register through your troop; give them all your forms and fees by the date they request. Your troop will
sign you up. Warning: If you register your child as an individual camper, you may not be matched up with your troop!
B. If your troop is not attending or you are not in a troop, register as an individual camper (see below)
Troop leaders - see the Troop Leader Letter or visit our website for instructions and needed troop forms.
Individual campers – Mail all forms and a check made payable to GSAO Day Camp postmarked by dates listed on the Camp flyers to 1600
W. Struck Ave. Space 4, Orange, 92867 -or- bring your forms and payment to one of our ‘walk-in’ dates and location (listed on our website)
PLEASE NOTE: Although day camp is designed as an individual camper program, troops will be placed together when possible, but NO guarantees.
Always be sure your campers indicate a ‘buddy’ on their forms. Any troop who wants to be considered for placement together MUST provide
volunteers to meet our ratio of 1 adult for every 6 campers or enough part time volunteers to meet full time equivalent requirements; this ratio
includes Pixies & boys you sign up. Any troop not able to supply the needed volunteers may be split up and the girls will be placed with buddies, as
space allows. Girls registering without a troop are encouraged to provide adult volunteers too! We will make every effort to place ALL the girls
who want to attend day camp – but we need volunteers to do this!! You will be notified ASAP if there are not enough volunteers to form units and
place your camper(s). In this case, your fees will be refunded. Refund policy for those who drop is on our website.
The Friday, June 26th field trip to the California Science Center in LA is a $20 additional fee payable when you sign up for Day Camp. We
use OUSD buses. Be sure to check this option on the bottom of your Day Camp registration form.
Complete information for the week of camp including our field trip will be sent out in mid June.
