 Breast Cancer Education and Support GroupProvidence Portland Medical Center – First and third
Thursdays of the month from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Your support person is welcome to attend. Please call Krista

 Breast Cancer Education and Support GroupProvidence St. Vincent Medical Center – First and third
Tuesdays from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Your support person is welcome to attend. Please call Beth Ruml, RN,
LCSW, at 503-216-4676. Pre-registration is required.
 Advanced Cancer Support Group Providence Portland Medical Center – Every second and fourth
Tuesday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. A place where individuals with advanced cancer can discuss difficult issues
and connect with others. Your support person is welcome to attend. Please call Krista Nelson, LCSW at
503-215-3204. Pre-registration is required.
 Colon, Rectal and Anal Cancer Education and Support GroupProvidence Portland Medical Center Third Tuesday of each month from 5 to 6:30 p.m. For individuals facing colon, rectal or anal cancer. Your
support person is welcome to attend along with you. For more information, please call Krista Nelson, 503215-3204 or Jennifer Moore, RN, Oncology Nurse Navigator at 503-215-7988. Pre-registration is
required.
 Family Program GroupProvidence Portland Medical Center – Meets the second Thursday of the
month, eight months out of the year. Please call to register and confirm the scheduled dates. Dinner is served
from 6 to 6:30 p.m., followed by group from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Children and teens that have a family member
diagnosed with cancer benefit from a safe environment in which they can express their feelings. Groups are
divided by age, with a parent group meeting at the same time. Please call Krista Nelson, LCSW at 503-2153204. Pre-registration is required.
 Lymphoma Support GroupProvidence Portland Medical Center –
An educational group to support patients diagnosed with Lymphoma. Caregivers welcome. Meets on the
first Tuesday of February, May, August, and November. For more details contact Kristin Sacco, Patient

 Prostate Cancer Support GroupProvidence Milwaukie Hospital – First and third Thursdays of the
month from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Meetings are facilitated by men. Spouses and significant others are welcome. A
