The time has come! We have the GREEN LIGHT!
Deployment to Hong Kong is just two weeks away!
Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go
therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son
and of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:18-19
As the time approaches, the bags are being packed, and we will be leaving our homeland to embark
on a new journey to share the Good News of the Victory Jesus gives us! Our flight is booked for
April 28.
Destination: Hong Kong, home to 7,230,000 souls.
We will be living in a four story flat with four bedrooms. My office as regional chaplain, will be on
the ground level. My responsibilities will be serving those fellow servants deployed throughout Asia.
We will live about in the center of this photo

Located within two blocks from the flat is a grocery store.
About six blocks in the other direction is another grocery
store and wet market. A “WET MARKET” is similar to a
farmer's market, this market is located under a very large
apartment building. They are called "wet markets" because
they sell meat and fish which require frequent floor washing.
Wet markets have been around since before the nineteenth
century. One can learn a lot about the culture of Hong
Kong while saving money on fruits, vegetables, dry
goods and getting the best quality of meats and seafood.

Please continue to keep my family in your prayers as
the Holy Spirit moves us forward to serve in unfamiliar
places, strange and new, to serve the spiritual needs of
the many, to seek out those who are lost and show them
the Savior of the world-Jesus Christ.
In Christ,
