Site preparation
STEP 1 - Request an installation permit for your shed from
your municipality and ask about the regulations.

STEP 2 - Determine the
location of your shed with a
rope or aerosol paint within a
24” corridor with no obstacles
(figure 1).
STEP 3 - With the help of the
cylinder positioning diagram
provided by the seller, identify
the places where you will need
to dig the holes. The holes
must be 24”x 24” (figure 2).
The denivelation must not
exceed 5”. In such a case,
add 0-3/4” gravel until you
obtain a denivelation of less
than 5”.

The leveling must be done
in such a way as to allow
rainwater to easily escape
from under the shed’s
structure.

STEP 4 - Dig holes of 12” of
depth, apply a geomembrane
product then fill the holes
with 0-3/4” gravel. Stomp the
gravel every 6” with your feet.
You will need eight 30kg bags
of gravel per hole. Caution: Do
not use 3/4” gravel (figure 3).
Cylinder adjustment
* Concrete block, adjustable cylinder
and shock key provided by seller.
As shown in the picture, if there is a space between the
door frame and the door when you close it, screw in the
left cylinders (or vice versa) to restore the balance point
(level zero).
