String Camp Application - Ossipee Valley Bluegrass Festival

Hello! We are so excited that you will be joining us at the Ossipee Valley String Camp! You will receive four full days of instruction, delicious, locally sourced meals, workshops and electives, group “band” instruction, late night jams and barn dances, as well as swimming, campfire pickin’, and lots of fun with an incredible musical community! The camp will begin with a meet & greet and supper on Sunday July 19th, and wrap up with a performance on the Ossipee Main Stage Thursday, July 23rd! You will make selections for your elective classes, as well as be matched with a “band” of other students, upon your arrival. Other activities such as yoga, or instructor led jams, will be open admission (just show up!) You will receive a schedule upon your arrival. It is highly recommended that all students camp at the festival. We have unlimited tent sites, and a large number of RV hookups, all on flat, grassy, pine shaded terrain. We will have medical and security staff present, and although we are in a rural area the nearest town is five minutes, while Portland is only forty-‐five minutes away. Don’t forget, the cost of the camp includes a 4-‐day pass to the Ossipee Valley Music Festival where you will see some of the greatest roots musicians playing their hearts out, as well as the most vibrant field pickin’ scene in New England!
