WHAT IT IS
Organization Mandate
Dress for Success Ottawa is a charitable, not-for-profit
organization that provides professional attire, a network of
support and the tools to help women thrive in work and life.
Dress for Success Ottawa has opened its doors to serve
economically disadvantaged women who are looking to enter or
re-enter the workforce in the National Capital Region. Since
January 2011, we have assisted approximately 1000 Ottawa area
women who are taking that step to secure their own economic
independence.

Key Programs & Services for Job Seekers
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Contact:
Suiting Program - Provides each woman with 2 business outfits when she has a job
interview. Each client will be paired with a wardrobe consultant at our boutique who
will assist with finding the perfect interview outfits. Once the client successfully lands
the job, she returns to Dress for Success Ottawa for up to one week's worth of
professional clothing.

Eligibility Criteria: Women are referred to Dress for Success Ottawa by local
not-for-profit agencies providing employment services.

Professional Women's Group (PWG) - Provides Dress for Success Ottawa clients with
support, practical information and inspiration to achieve self-defined success in career
and life, through a series of workshops and a mentorship program.

Dress Rehearsal Program - Once a Dress for Success Ottawa client has completed
their interview suiting, they can sign up to participate in the Dress Rehearsal Program.
The Dress Rehearsal Program provides an opportunity for clients to practice their
interview skills in a realistic work environment with volunteers who are experienced in
the recruitment and selection process.
