This camp is for kids who love robots. Kids will spend time on
robotics building with LEGO Mindstorm and programming activities.
They will become familiar with the Arduino platform and will use
sensors, motors, switches, lights, cameras and more.
Code Like a BOSS!
July 27th - 31st, 2015
Monday-Friday (5 days)
Recommended for ages 10-14
This camp is for kids that want to be computer programmers. They
will learn Computer Programming in Minecraft and will learn the
basics of web development. They will be introduced to Python and
Java programming languages.
Mod Like a Modder (Minecraft)
August 3rd - 7th, 2015
Monday-Friday (5 days)
Recommended for ages 10-16.
This camp is for kids that love Minecraft and Computer
Programming. Students will learn the basics of the Java
programming language as they create their very own Minecraft
Mod. They will set up a Java development environment, and will
learn to use a graphics program to create custom Minecraft objects.

to introduce middle school students, grade 6-8 to

mathematical concepts. The goal is to create an
environment where students have fun while
learning new skills.
The Engineering Design Summer Camp, offered
through the K-12 Student Outreach Program at
Colorado School of Mines, provides an opportunity
for high school students to attend a weeklong
summer camp on the Mines campus in Golden,
Colorado. The objective of the camp is to guide
participants through a fun and rewarding handson experience of authentic engineering design.
Students will be challenged to invent, to create, to
design, and to build.
