Oxford Analytics Interactive:

1. The model
Oxford Analytics - Interactive is based on a 2013-14
research study of the DfE’s national data sets - conducted
by our Research Team.
A prototype was shared with partner schools and
demonstrated at events - the very positive response has
led us to refine it and make it more widely available.
It is a mixture of: interactive analysis; compare & contrast
analysis; training tool; and data-sharing model.

3. How does it work?
You start with a headline diagnosis. In an instant, you send a query that will
search all the national data sets. It will pinpoint both your headline successes
and areas of weakness - items of statistical significance and key comparisons.
Click - view - and interact with your performance data
You then use ‘click and view’ means to drill down, explore and compare further by using our
Data Explorer.
Compare and contrast
Compare performance with local schools, LA schools, schools in similar circumstances, etc.
Enhance your understanding of the data
Each section explains the data and measures used, so you can clearly understand how the
performance picture that underpins the Level 3 Value Added and national performance picture
is arrived at.
4. Data Circles
A Data Circle is a group of Oxford Analytics partner schools that come together
and use the model to:
Compare and contrast:
LA, local, similar, free choice.
Share insights.
Reduce training costs: In-house training
(funding or performance) can be
delivered for the Circle at the same
cost of an individual school; and
Reduce costs: bigger the circle
lower the subscription.
The Data used
The model uses DfE validated data sets only and mirrors the data cycle used by Ofsted.
That means it uses the March 2015 release of the validated 2014 Results data through
to February 2016.
This analytical model can be used in conjunction with Oxford Analytics core reporting which
allows you to run any exam results, mocks or monitoring results as soon as they become available
against national baselines.

5. Cost
Cost: £475 + VAT Unlimited users per school.
Data Circles discounts:
3+ member schools (- 10% for each member)
6+ member schools (- 15% for each member)
10+ member schools (- 20 % for each member)
15+ member schools (- 25% for each member)
These discounts are also applicable to schools that require both the Oxford Analytics Interactive
Package and our Headstart Level 3 core-reporting package. The discount applies to the total cost
- not just one element.
