BOB Awards 2015

The BOB Awards Celebration will honor, acknowledge and reward students, educators,
employees, volunteers, school districts, colleges, organizations, and businesses that show
passion, creativity and/or innovation resulting in a better educational experience. It’s not
about the highest scores or the best grades. It’s about who is engaged in the educational
system and made a difference!
Finalists in the student and educator categories will receive $50. The Public School
Student winner will receive $300 (their school will also receive $300), College Student
winner will receive $500 and Educator winners will receive $600.
To help celebrate these achievements, humorist Jeanne Robertson will entertain the
audience following the Awards Ceremony. Jeanne specializes in hilarious humor based on
her life experiences. This Miss Congeniality winner in the Miss America Pageant uses her
down-home Southern drawl to leave her audiences laughing - and thinking about her
message.
Beginning at 6:00 pm, nominees and their guests are invited to the Nominees’ Pre-BOB
Party. A Pre-BOB Party ticket is required for this event. All nominees will receive four (4)
complimentary tickets to the Nominees’ Pre-BOB Party. This is an opportunity to meet
other nominees and our featured guest, Jeanne Robertson. Enjoy light snacks and have
your picture taken with family and friends.
At 7:00 nominees will be asked to move to the stage in to the auditorium. Other guests
will be seated. Tickets are required for this event. All nominees will receive four (4)
complimentary tickets to the Awards Ceremony. At 7:15 the Awards Ceremony will
begin. Finalists and winners will be announced at that time. After the Awards Ceremony,
nominees will join the audience and the entertainment will begin.
