If you are looking to add a highly personal
touch to your home decor, Jazzy Manufacture and Design is a company located in the
West Island that specializes in manufacturing custom cabinets.
“We are space designers,” says Jack Ifrah,
owner of Jazzy Furniture. “We do bathrooms, kitchens, built-in closets, built-in
bedrooms and home offices.”
Ifrah started the company on his own
about 10 years ago, but has been customizing rooms for decades. He has a work history
in painting, design, manufacture and installing cabinets.
The layout of any renovation is more important than anything else, Ifrah says. For example, if someone is interested in
customizing their kitchen, it is important for
the designer to know what appliances they
will purchase, the way they work in their
kitchen and to get a feel for the rest of the
house.
“We will design with the client or with a
designer that a client brings in,” he said. “The
designer will take care of colours and styles
and we will focus on the cabinets themselves
and the layouts.”
Ifrah and his team will then come up with a
preliminary plan; one that they believe will best
suit the client. After the plan is reviewed and
approved, they will choose the materials and
provide the client with a quote.
Prices range according to the design and
materials chosen, but Ifrah says that the
company will accommodate the client and
try to work within their budget.

“We may be more expensive than buying
prefabricated cabinets,” he said. “But our
pricing remains competitive because we
manufacture everything in-house — there is
no third party or middle man.”
As for the finishing touch, the company
uses a post catalyzed lacquer, which allows
for a flawless snd durable finish.
“We are very detailed,” he said. “We always
see our projects through to customer satisfaction.
