Delivering Premium Agency Services
In a relatively short period of time, Palma Holding has grown to become a
specialised and diversified real estate company based in Dubai, focusing on
real estate development, investment, asset management and agency services.
At our core, we aim to deliver excellence to our customers, whether the customer is looking for a
home to enjoy a specific lifestyle, a real estate investment opportunity, an income-yielding asset or
management services for their real estate portfolio. We will continue to expand and improve our
agency services, which include buying or selling real estate, leasing services, management services,
consultancy and investment advisory services.
Palma has persevered during the tough years of 2008 - 2012, where our
determination, passion and commitment to our shareholders, our customers and
to the dynamic city of Dubai, led us to skillfully deliver on 100% of our real
estate projects in excess of AED 3.6 billion (USD 1 billion); including two of
our most recent iconic projects, Silverene Twin Towers in Dubai Marina (2012)
and the Infinity - Cayan in Dubai Marina (2013).
During the economic crisis, we focused our financial and physical resources on
delivering on all our commitments. This has made us stronger and wiser, and
has demonstrated our commitment and loyalty to our customers, investors,
authorities and the wider community.

Our unwavering commitment to Dubai will continue into the future, as it has been in the past. We
have enjoyed the growth years, persevered through the tough ones and we are now focused and
energised for the new opportunities Dubai has to offer.
Since then, our focus has shifted from survival-mode to growth, while
continuing to deliver excellence. We are re-aligning all our strategies, business
processes, procedures, recruitment and resource training to achieve this
initiative.
Our belief and confidence in Dubai has only grown over the years due to the unique vision of the
leadershi p, the ambitious future plans of the Emirates and the realisation of its strategic investments
and advancements (infrastructure, airports, transportation, hospitality, e-government initiatives and more).
Developing Prime Boutique Real Estate
Dubai's resilience to the global economic crisis, along with its unique economic model has allowed it
to remain a frontrunner of economic growth and innovation in the region, providing a vast selection
of investment opportunities.
Using our track record as a solid foundation, our development strategy aims to
deliver prime boutique real estate projects across Dubai's premium real estate
sector. We aim to achieve this goal by either acquiring prime plots from
Dubai's master developers, or by creating special partnershi ps with owners of
prime plots in Dubai. Our focus will remain Dubai Marina, Business Bay,
Downtown Burj Dubai District, The Palm and other premium areas.
Growing Our Asset Management Business (Retail and Hospitality)
Within the last two years we have diversified our business to secure a higher
percentage of our income from recurring revenue sources. We have developed
and acquired prime waterfront retail assets that have delivered solid , recurring
revenue streams. We have assembled a team of professionals to manage these
assets to achieve their maximum potential value.
Going forward we will continue to invest develop and acquire prime retail
assets while exploring new opportunities in the hospitality sector to add to this
recuring revenue stream.

While we have no aim in becoming one of the largest agencies in Dubai, we are endeavoring to
become Dubai's premium boutique agency, providing our clientele with premium, focused services for
all their real estate requirements.
Our learning curve throughout Dubai's economic cycle has placed us in a unique position to
continue our successful real estate journey into the future and we will strive to further differentiate
ourselves as a boutique, specialised real estate organisation, bringing various opportunities to customers,
investors, the real estate landscape and the wider community. We will also endeavour to build on our
various social responsibility initiatives including strategic education and medical initiatives, as well as

Kareem Derbas
CEO & Co-Founding Partner
Kareem is the Co-Founder,Partner and CEO of Palma Holding. He
has over a decade of experience in Dubai’`s real estate market,
where he has developed the group into a fully-integrated real
estate company, with services ranging from development,
brokerage, investment and asset management. At the peak of
Dubai`’ s real estate boom, Kareem was managing a property
portfolio in excess of AED 10 billion. (USD 3 billion)
Kareem is also the CEO, Partner & Board Member of Palma Asset
Management, which is an asset management company that owns
and manages 'A'’ class retail assets.
Kareem was also the Co-Founding Partner and CEO of Cayan
Investment & Development since it's inception up until 2013,
where he divested his shares in the company to fully focus on
growing Palma Holding.
Prior to co-founding the company, Kareem worked as an
Executive Management Consultant at Ernst & Young in London.
Prior to that, he was a Risk Management Consultant at Arthur
Andersen.
He is currently partici pating in an executive education program at
Harvard Business School and expects to be completed by early
2016. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business
Administration (with Honours) from the American University of
Beirut. He speaks English, Arabic and Spanish.
Kareem is also a passionate sporting and fishing enthusiast. He
regularly competes in international fishing competitions,and most
recently partici pated in the IGFA Fishing World Championshi p in
Mexico.

A lifelong resident of Dubai,Rana has a decade of experience in
Dubai`’ s real estate market which led her to become the Director of
Business Development, focusing on securing new real estate
opportunities for the company shareholders and strategic investors.
Rana is also responsible for managing the relationshi p with
Dubai`’ s Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA) to keep up-to-date
with new initiatives and laws being introduced to enhance the real
estate market.
Eva is the Director of Sales & Investment for Palma Real Estate.
She is a top-performing and articulate professional offering more
than a decade of experience in Dubai’`s property market. Extensive
market knowledge, honesty and a penchant for client satisfaction
are some of the most important abilities Eva believes to be guiding
her in building and maintaining her long-term relationshi ps.
Prior to taking on the role of Director of Business Development,
Rana spent nine years spearheading Palma`’ s sales and investment
arm, contributing to over AED 3 billion in residential sales in
Dubai. She possesses extensive local knowledge about real estate
investments and laws. Her superior customer service and
communication skills coupled with her vast professional
experience over the last decade have allowed her to truly
maximise her clients’ returns on investments.
Rana’s absolute professionalism and exceptionally high standards
of service are among the characteristics of her strong work ethic.

Originally from Bulgaria, she moved to Dubai 13 years ago to
pursue new professional opportunities and to expand her
knowledge. After three years in the hospitality industry, she joined
Palma Real Estate in 2005 and has been a part of its team ever
since. Her determination and motivation to succeed has led her
to be a top property and investment advisor for several years and
to gradually move to her current position. She has spearheaded the
sales and investment arm of Palma Real Estate, contributing to
over AED 3 billion in residential sales since joining.
An effective negotiator and a highly successful investment advisor,
Eva possesses a deep understanding of what is involved in
delivering successful sales transactions. She possesses the ability to
easily explain and simplify intricate concepts involving buying and
selling properties.
Fluent in English, Bulgarian and Russian, and with a strong
customer service background, she is a natural at interacting with
clients from all cultural backgrounds, providing them with
superior insight and advice on investing in Dubai`’ s real estate
market.

Omar Derbas

Manager of Asset Management
Omar Derbas is the Director of Development. He holds a decade
of experience in real estate development, project management
and construction management. Omar holds a Bachelor of
Mechanical Engineering from the American University of Beirut.
Irene has recently been promoted from Retail & Residential
Leasing Manager to Manager of Asset Management. Originally
from Scotland in the UK, Irene holds 15 years of experience in a
financial services company where she dealt with high net worth
clients on a daily basis, which led her to the Dubai real estate
market. Since 2011, she has been the Residential & Retail
Leasing Manager at Palma Real Estate and has succeeded in
establishing a successful residential and retail leasing team, while
meeting targets in an extremely competitive real estate industry.
Omar has successfully delivered four high rise buildings in Dubai
including the prestigious Cayan Tower formerly known as Infinity
Tower. He was also in charge of the flagshi p project, Silverene
Twin Towers. He is known for his strong leadershi p skills,project
coordination and project management. The four projects he has
managed are valued at over AED 3.6 billion (USD 1 billion).
Formerly, he spent several years in the manufacturing industry that
supplied specialised products to the construction sector.
Omar also heads the Corporate Social Responsibility department,
and is passionately involved in multi ple CSR initiatives. One of his
major contributions has been to manage the construction of two
schools for the Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon in
conjunction with UNESCO. The school proudly serves over 2,000
girls who are enjoying education because of this initiative.
Additionally, he sponsors and delivers monthly food parcels and
basic necessities to a number of underprivileged families in the
Northern Emirates (UAE). He also tackles multi ple initiatives
including successful blood donation drives and collection events
for natural disaster victims around the world including Pakistan,
Palestine, Lebanon and Jordan, just to name a few.

In her capacity as Retail Manager, she successfully located an
appropriate tenancy mix in both Silverene Twin Towers and
Dorrabay Waterfront Retail, by using her strong negotiation skills
in addition to being adept at planning and identifying suitable
brands, and preparing budgets and lease documentation.
In her capacity as Retail & Residential Leasing Manager, she
established a highly motivated team that has successfully leased
many buildings across Dubai, including the flagshi p project,
Silverene Twin Towers that is home to over 600 families. She
supports her team and believes that good team work is the way
forward to achieving results.
In her new expanded role, Irene will continue to head the retail
and residential leasing team in addition to growing the property
management team, which will be responsible for maintaining the
companys’ growing retail and residential portfolio as well as the
property portfolio of VIP customers.
