Parabilis Space Technologies Inc., a Delaware corporation located in San Marcos, CA, is an SBAregistered, HUBZone-eligible (cert. pending) small business. Parabilis was formed by a core group of
passionate engineers who share the goal of providing affordable aerospace solutions that will catalyze the emerging New-Space industry. Areas of expertise
include propulsion systems, small satellites, sounding
rockets, vehicle component integration, and ground testing.
Comprised of former SpaceDev and SNC (Sierra Nevada
Corporation) employees, the Parabilis team has extensive
space hardware and spaceflight experience. Parabilis team
members have led or been extensively involved in the
following programs:
SpaceShipTwo Hybrid Rocket Motor Test
SpaceShipOne rocket motor, a safe and affordable hybrid propulsion solution, which powered
the first private astronaut into space, winning Paul Allen’s team the $10m Ansari X-Prize in 2004
SpaceShipTwo rocket motor and feed system, ground and flight testing for the first commercial
space tourism project by Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic
DreamChaser™ hybrid rocket motor development, NASA shuttle replacement contract
CHIPSat, an elegant and affordable small satellite that set numerous space-related “firsts”
Trailblazer, a small satellite that was designed, developed, tested, and flown within one year
with less than a $10m budget to demonstrate operational responsive space capabilities
Parabilis also provides engineering services, including:

Oxygen/Nitrous system assembly, handling, and training

Parabilis engineers are fluent in a variety of analytical
tools, including tools for trajectory and performance optimization, computational fluid dynamics analysis, fluid and
propulsion simulation, finite element structural analysis,
and post-test data processing analysis.
