A Message From Mike
Spring-like temperatures have finally arrived!
Though winters in Fort Wayne are always a
significant challenge, you have all done a tremendous job keeping pace and persevering
these past several months. I am very proud of
the job that each one of you does each and
every day.
As you may be aware, two brand new ambulances arrived at
our base one week ago. The units will require final detail work
and loading of equipment for the next few days, but should be
rolling down the road very soon. You will note there are some
differences between these new trucks and our existing fleet. I
am sure you will quickly adapt to these variations as these
trucks are a much needed expansion of our fleet.
Paramedics Plus is pleased to announce that it has yet again
been awarded the Sunstar contract in Pinellas County, Florida.
Through the competitive bid process, Paramedics Plus scored
higher than AMR in each of the seven categories. Following
the March 24th Board of Commissioners meeting, Paramedics
Plus will receive a five year contract with the possibility of two
extensions of three years each.
Finally, I am pleased to announce that Korie Krull has been selected to represent Paramedics Plus/TRAA at the upcoming
American Ambulance Association Stars of Life event in Washington D.C. Korie was selected by the entire management team
for her outstanding service to our organization as well as her
constant positive attitude. In addition, Korie continually upholds and demonstrates the CARE PLUS Value system that our
organization is structured upon. Please take the opportunity to
congratulate Korie on this outstanding achievement.
