BOOGIE BABIES PARENT /TODDLER Walking-3 YRS & ADULT
Parents and toddlers will love exploring movement and music together in this class! Toddlers will be
introduced to a classroom setting in a fun and welcoming way. They will develop motor skills, begin
learning how to follow directions and interact with others, and of course, there’ll be a whole lot of
boogieing going on! This class encourages little ones to move freely and expressively. The instructor’s
expectations and the music used are age appropriate.

Cool off this summer at one of Boise’s six municipal outdoor pools! Pools open for the season at 1:30
p.m. Tuesday, June 2. Children under age 9 must be accompanied by an adult. Borah, Fairmont, Ivywild

JUNE ART CAMP 6-8 & 9-12 YRS
Does your child like a lot of different art activities? In this class we bring our favorite art projects
together in one art camp. This art-filled week meets three hours each day. Create one-of-a-kind projects
in clay, painting, drawing, sculpture and much more. All materials provided. Each month offers a
different class and different projects. Please do not sign your child up for two classes in the same month
-- it will be a repeat.

“REC ‘EM” 8-11 YRS
Enjoy some of the fun, kid-friendly activities that can be found in and around the Boise area!
Participants will be transported to various locations to explore and experience both traditional and nontraditional recreation activities. Activities/locations may include; hiking, water/rafting safety, swimming,
Idaho IceWorld, Foothills Learning Center, group challenges, Zoo Boise and if weather permits and the
river is open and safe we may possibly float the Boise River and practice our water/boating safety!
Participants will need to bring a snack, lunch and water bottle each day. Be ready the first day for hiking
and playing around Camels Back Park then ice skating at Idaho IceWorld! A tentative schedule for the
rest of the week will be given out on the first morning.

MOUNTAIN DISCOVERY CAMP 9-11 YRS
Join us where the air is cool and the adventure never ends! At the Bogus Basin Mountain Discovery
Camp, you’ll spend each day exploring forests, streams, and mountain peaks just outside of the city!
Follow animal tracks, build a shelter out of natural materials, hike to the top of Mores Mountain, and
draw pictures of native plants and animals all while sleeping each night in the comfort of your own bed!
Participants will meet each day at Whitney Community Center, then ride a bus to the Nordic Center at
Bogus Basin. This camp is offered in partnership with the Bogus Basin Nordic Lodge Educational
Program.
