distinctive watercolors of celebrated Las Vegas
artist Barbara Yoerg. Barbara has been recognized as a “master of negative-space painting,”
the art of painting and discovering objects,
animals, plants and minerals, in spaces around
a subject rather than painting the object itself.
We’ll also share information on Neon Museum
and the ongoing restoration project that’s
transforming the boneyard into the soon-tobe-museum.

The children of Mulege
need your help
It is nearly a month since Hurricane Jimena
dismantled the 300-year-old village of Mulege,
on Mexico’s Baja Penninsula. Yet Mulege’s
people still struggle to rebuild, and to survive.
Amid the daunting array of emergencies, one
priority remains clear: education of Mulege’s
children. As Community Outreach Director for
IABC Las Vegas, our own Victor Rodriguez
