KBHP-FM, KLLZ-FM AND KKZY-FM - $10,000 PAYDAY SWEEPSTAKES
OFFICIAL RULES
1.
HOW TO ENTER/PLAY/QUALIFY: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
This sweepstakes will take place on KBHP-FM, KLLZ-FM and KKZY-FM (hereinafter
“the Stations”).
There are two (2) ways to enter/participate in this sweepstakes. Entries will be accepted
pursuant to Paragraph 1.A below, from Monday, April 13, 2015, through Sunday, June 7,
2015 (if mail-in entries, entries must be postmarked by June 7, 2015, and received at the
station by Thursday, June 10, 2015).
A.
Visit a Participating Sponsor. Participating sponsor locations will be listed on
each station’s website and announced on each station.
i.
Post Card Entry Form Entry. Visit a participating sponsor location to
obtain a post card entry form; complete the entry form (which includes
checking which station you listen to) and mail it in to the station.
Limit: Five (5) entries per person.
How to Qualify.
On weekdays (Monday-Friday) beginning Thursday, April 16, 2015, through
Wednesday June 10, 2015, listen to the station you choose on your entry form for
your name to be announced. An entrant’s name will be randomly drawn from all
eligible entries received, and announced at random times between 6:00 a.m. and
6:00 p.m. on each station; when a listener hears his/her name announced, the
listener will have ten (10) minutes to call one of the following numbers to win:

If listening to KBHP-FM:

If the listener whose name is announced calls in within the ten (10) minutes,
he/she will become a qualifier. If the listener whose name is announced during a
specific time slot does not call in within ten (10) minutes, there will not be a
qualifier for that time slot. PLEASE NOTE: The person calling in to the station
to become a qualifier must be the person whose name is announced on-air;
substitute callers (e.g. friends, relatives, co-workers, etc.) are not allowed, except
in the case of a disability that prevents the person whose name is announced
calling himself or herself, and will result in disqualification at the sole discretion
of the Stations.
B.
Listen to Win Without Submitting An Entry.
On weekdays (Monday-Friday) beginning Thursday, April 16, 2015, through
Wednesday June 10, 2015, listen to KBHP-FM, KKZY-FM and KLLZ-FM. To
enter, at random times between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., when listeners hear the
on-air talent ask for the specified number caller (i.e., caller No. 10., caller No. 12,
etc.), the first person to be the specified number caller who reaches the station by
calling one of the following numbers will become a qualifier.

The Stations are not responsible for delays attributable to webcasting, telephone
line unavailability, busy signals on the sweepstakes line, operator interference,
technical or atmospheric conditions that disrupt the completion of the phone call,
telephone system malfunctions, or any other telephone problems which may or
may not result from this sweepstakes. If a station receives less than the specified
number of calls within a reasonable period of time (as determined by the Stations
in their sole discretion), the Stations reserve the right to re-conduct that hourly
sweepstakes at a later time or cancel that winning opportunity and not qualify a
person.
2.
HOW THE GRAND PRIZE WINNER IS CHOSEN. Qualify pursuant to Paragraph 1
above. From all qualifiers pursuant to Paragraph 1 above, from all the Stations, one (1)
name will be randomly drawn on Thursday, June 11, 2015, to be the winner, and the
winner’s name will be announced on the Stations between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on
Friday, June 12, 2015. Station personnel will also go to the winner’s home or place of
business on Friday morning, June 12, 2015, to surprise the winner.
3.
CLAIMING A PRIZE: The winner must claim his/her prize in person at the Stations,
502 Beltrami Avenue N.W., Bemidji, Minnesota, during normal business hours
(Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) within fourteen (14) business days of the day he
or she wins to verify that he/she is the qualified winner. Failure to comply with this
deadline shall be deemed to be the winner’s forfeiture of his or her right to claim the
grand prize. The winner must prove he or she is a qualified winner by presenting
identification acceptable to the Stations (e.g., state drivers license; state issued
identification card; valid passport with address verification; or birth certificate with social
security card and photo identification and address verification). If a winner cannot prove
he or she is a qualified winner, the prize will not be awarded. All unclaimed prizes
remain the property of the Stations. A prize will not be issued to a winner unless a social
security number is presented.
4.
PRIZE: There will be one (1) prize awarded in this sweepstakes. The winner will receive
$10,000.
A qualified winner must also meet the eligibility requirements as set forth in Paragraph 5
of these rules. The winner is responsible for all applicable income taxes. All federal,
state and local laws apply. A 1099 form will be submitted to all appropriate taxing
authorities.

5.
ELIGIBILITY: Individuals must be 18 years or older and residents of Minnesota to be
eligible to win. In order to be eligible to win a prize in this contest, you cannot have won
any prize or combination of prizes with a total stated value of $2,000 or more from any of
the Stations since January 1, 2010. These restrictions apply even if you reject the prize.
Employees of any of the Stations or HBI Radio Bemidji, LLC, or any of their
subsidiaries, and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter. Anyone participating
in this sweepstakes or claiming a prize in this sweepstakes in violation of these rules will
be disqualified from winning a prize in this sweepstakes and from participating in Station
contests for a period of one year.
6.
RELEASE; CONSENT TO USE LIKENESS, VOICE AND ADDRESS: The winner
may be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility prior to awarding of the prize. The
winner (a) agrees to release the Stations and HBI Radio Bemidji, LLC (including their
subsidiaries, affiliates, parent or related companies) from any and all liability, claims,
damages and actions arising directly or indirectly out of or sustained in connection with
the awarding or acceptance of the prize(s), and/or misuse of any prize, or to participation
in the contest or in prize-related activities, including any travel related thereto, and (b)
consents to the use by the Stations for promotional purposes, of his or her likeness, voice
(including a recording of the winner's telephone call to the station) and/or address
(city/state) without any additional compensation. By calling in to claim a prize, each
participant consents to his or her voice and telephone conversation being recorded and/or
broadcast. By participating in this contest, each participant agrees to the application of
these official rules.
7.
WINNER LIST: For the name of the grand prize winner, send a self-addressed, stamped
envelope before June 30, 2015, to Winners List, $10,000 Payday, 502 Beltrami Avenue
N.W., Bemidji, Minnesota 56601.
8.
MISCELLANEOUS:
Decisions of the Stations concerning any and all matters with respect to this sweepstakes
shall be final. Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or otherwise restricted by law. The
Stations are not responsible for printing errors in the sweepstakes materials or these
rules. The Stations are not responsible for problems accessing the website, or technical
or atmospheric conditions that disrupt the completion of the entry, or any other problems
which might or might not result from this sweepstakes. The Stations, in their sole
discretion, may disqualify any entrant from participation in or use of any or all portions
of this sweepstakes, and refuse to award the Prize, if participant engages in any conduct
the Stations deems to be improper, unfair or otherwise adverse to the operation of the
sweepstakes or detrimental to other entrants of the sweepstakes. Such improper conduct
includes, without limitation, falsifying personal information required during registration
or prize claim, violating any term or condition stated herein, accumulating entries through
methods such as automated computer scripts or any other programming techniques,
allowing others to use entrant's personal information for the purpose of accumulating
entries, or intentionally trying to defraud, reverse engineer, disassemble or otherwise
tamper with the computer programs in connection with this sweepstakes. Participants
agree that the Stations may void any part of the Prize that participant may have won
and/or require the return of any part of the Prize that participant may have won as a result
of such improper conduct. Participant further acknowledges that any forfeiture of the
Prize and/or return of the Prize shall in no way prevent the Stations from pursuing other
avenues of recourse such as criminal or civil proceedings in connection with such
conduct. WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR
UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE

A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN
ATTEMPT BE MADE, EACH OF THE SWEEPSTAKES ENTITIES RESERVES THE
RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH
PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR SUCH ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT
PERMITTED BY LAW. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as
planned by reason of infection by computer virus, worms, bugs, tampering, unauthorized
intervention, fraud, technical failures, cancellation of show, scheduling changes or any
other causes which the Stations, in their sole opinion believes could corrupt or affect the
administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this sweepstakes, the
Stations reserves the right at their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend
this sweepstakes and select the Prize winner from entries received prior to the action
taken or in such other manner as the Stations may deem fair and appropriate.
