RobinJackmanwasbornonAugust13,1945,inShimla.
Jackman,whohadalongrun-upandastrongfollow-through,is
bestrememberedfortheabandonmentofaTestmatchin
WestIndies.
JackmanplayedinfourTestsandfifteenODIsforEnglandfrom
1974to1983.Hewasaseambowlerandusefultail-end
batsman.
Duringafirst-classcareerlastingfrom1966to1982,hetook
1,402wickets.HewasamemberoftheSurreysidethatwon
theCountyChampionshipin1971,andalsoplayedforWestern
ProvinceinSouthAfricain1971-72,andforRhodesiabetween
1972-73and1979-80.
MentionRobinJackman'snametoayouthwhoknowswhatacricketbatisandthemost
