Students will also learn the various internal functions of digital cameras whether it is a digital SLR (Single Lens Re flex) or non-SLR camera (point n shoot). Learning Objectives: (By the end of the course, students will have the ability: • To define a digital camera function terminology. • To identify and explain the benefits and purpose of photographing a crime scene. • To define the components of a crime scene photography three (3) main views. • To list the various types of crime scene conditions and explain their pros and con. • To explain and employ the various methods of overcoming crime scene lighting conditions. • Of using scales at crime scenes for all evidence located and photo graphed. • Participate on several assigned hands-on projects deemed by the instructor. • Demonstrate to instructor how they will overcome problematic lighting conditions by taking photographs of mock scenes.
