The Inside Out Organic Soup Kitchen (ioosk) has been serving
Kings Cross since 2010. Our mission is to provide wholesome
organic food to those who need it most. We serve the homeless,
the drug addicted, prostitutes and women from the local
domestic violence refuge as well as young mums living in a
shelter.
Our only common belief is the power of good food. We believe
that food is more than food. We know that one healthy meal is
no match for a fix of heroin or bottle of vodka. But we believe
there is a reason people ask for plenty of that veg. Our little
organic Trojan Horses packed with nutrients, foreign to lives of
most people who work or sleep on the streets. Healing people
from the inside out.
We believe all people are worthy of a good meal cooked with
love.
We believe that food is more than food.
_about We know there is an even larger group of people deserving of a
wholesome nutritious meal. People like you. People who are time poor,
busy pleasing everyone else, often at the expense of their own health.

This winter, our mission is to provide free comfort soup to:
1. Women who have fled domestic violence and now living in shelters.
2. Young mums living in crisis accommodation &
3. Patrons of the St Canice’s soup kitchen.
Our goal is 1000 soups per week.
