PermaWrapMC has been tested and meets or exceeds all relevant requriements of ICC-ES AC38, “Acceptance Criteria for Water Resistive Barriers.”
MVTR - Moisture Vapor Transmission Rate (Perm Rating). Microperforated housewrap relies on tiny punctured holes to control vapor transmission
properties, these holes vary in size which means MVTR is taken based on an average. Surpasses ASTM AC-10 criteria, and perform exceptionally for
home moisture protection. Durability of a material after the long extraneous exposure to UV rays. This is an average. UV impact will vary across the US,
which could prolong or shorten maximum UV life. Our recommended time period covers these variances.
Handling and Storage
When stored outdoors, PermaWrapMCTM must be
protected from exposure to direct sunlight using a
light colored tarp. Material that has been unwrapped
should be covered or rewrapped. PermaWrapMCTM is
made of synthetic materials that are recognized as not
providing a food source for mold, mildew, fungus, or
insects. It should always be properly installed and stored.
