The new Touran is a car that is perfect for the entire family – and rather easy on the eye, too. And
that’s not just the design. The large side windows allow you to enjoy all the wonderful views
around the car. What’s more, the generously-proportioned panorama sliding/tilting roof ensures
that this versatile head-turner shines brightly in a crowd. In addition to the impressive views, you
will also enjoy a great deal of leg room. Despite its compact size, the Touran features an intelligent space concept to make sure that versatility comes equipped as standard. No matter what the
day has in store for your family, the new Touran has space for everything – all in just the blink of an eye.

01 See for yourself how much more you can see. Thanks to their impressive
lighting power, the LED headlights illuminate the road better than conventional
halogen headlights. A further highlight: the LED headlights may look dazzling
but they won’t bedazzle other road users. The optional “Dynamic Light Assist”
function blocks out certain areas of the headlights that could blind other vehicles
or pedestrians.* SO

and log in.
With state-of-the-art equipment for your journey down the motorway
and the information superhighway: thanks to its optional infotainment
system and interface for mobile devices, the new Touran can put on a
digital multimedia show to meet every passenger’s needs. Your little ones
(or big ones) can watch their favourite films, listen to the latest chart hits
or chat on Facebook from the comfort of the back seat. Meanwhile, you can
use the infotainment system to open up apps, use the voice amplification

function to interact with passengers in the back or check information on
your journey from the driver’s seat.

operate the apps on any mobile device connected
to the car’s USB port without even needing to touch

slots for two SD cards and a SIM card, the multimedia
box ensures that the CD player is always within easy

the clouds above you,
your freedom knows no bounds.
Count the clouds and reach for the stars: the optional panorama sliding/tilting roof provides
heavenly views from all seven seats (if selected). At night, two lighting strips highlight the
impressive design of the 1.4 square metre glass panel. As the saying goes: good health relies on
“bright light and fresh air”. On longer journeys, the new Touran provides a fresh supply of
good quality air, making it even more difficult to leave your car when you reach your destination.

01 – 02 The “Climatronic with 3-zone temperature regulation and anti-allergen
filter” provides a fresh supply of air and keeps the temperature inside the vehicle
at a healthy level: an air quality sensor fitted with an anti-allergen filter maintains
a high quality of air in the cabin. It also prevents harmful particles from entering
the vehicle and can even ward off fungal spores and allergens. The 3-zone climate
control function and selection of profiles mean that all passengers can select the
temperature that best suits them. There is even a gentle air conditioning profile
designed especially for smaller children and people with sensitive skin. Sun and
moisture sensors use the intensity and direction of the sun’s rays to create the
perfect climate and ensure a healthy level of moisture in the vehicle. This also means
that you never need to worry about your windows misting over ever again. SO

An exercise in relaxation:
Parking with a trailer.
When you’ve got a family, safety is always your number one priority. That is
why we have equipped the new Touran with a range of intelligent assist
systems and safety features – for example, it comes with a total of nine
airbags (including optional side airbags for the second row of seats),
the optional innovative “Trailer Assist” function for help with manoeuvring
trailers, and the optional “Side Assist” function for lane change assistance.
And because the best way to stay safe is to have a relaxed driver, the
new Touran forgets nothing when it comes to comfort.
01 By highlighting the beauty of the panorama sliding/
tilting roof, the ambient lighting makes sure that
the new Touran still turns heads, even when it is dark
outside. Soft lighting in the footwell ensures that
passengers receive a warm welcome when entering
the vehicle. The brightness of the ambient lighting

02 Reverse parking with a trailer or a caravan has
always been a problem – until now. The innovative
“Trailer Assist” for support with trailer manoeuvring
makes life less complicated by taking over the steering for you. All you need to do is use the operating
knob to set the required direction of travel. Trailer
Assist then steers your trailer safely to its destination

(within the limits of the system) while you operate
the accelerator and the brake, keeping an eye out for
any obstacles. SO
03 The “Side Assist” lane change assistant helps
you to see your blind spot. Two radar sensors in the
rear scan the areas behind and to the side of your
vehicle. The system sends light or flashing signals to
the exterior mirrors (depending on the distance and
risk level) to warn you of potential dangers when
changing lanes. This is particularly useful when you
are travelling at high speeds, like on the motorway
for example. SO

02 – 03 The new Touran is equipped with a luggage
net and dual-layer floor. Just like the rest of the vehicle,
the luggage compartment floor also obeys the laws
of versatility. You can switch between two possible
positions with just one hand. This means you can
choose between a flat luggage compartment floor
or a recessed floor for additional storage space.

04 If you are looking for even more flexibility for
the luggage compartment, we have created the
“Cargo Package”. The elasticated net can be adjusted
any way you like and is easy to install. It is held in
place by a rail system in the side trim. And, of course,
it can be used in a number of flexible ways – what else

05 “Easy Open” always keeps the door open for you –
particularly useful when you’ve got your hands full.
All you have to do is move your foot underneath the
rear bumper; the system’s sensors will then detect
your key and open up the tailgate for you. SO

01 Isn’t it so much better to simply fold the seat down
than have to take it all apart? Thanks to its adjustable
space design, the new Touran can be a seven-seater,
a five-seater or a transporter. The second and third
rows of seats can be folded down in the blink of an
eye. In the five-seater design, the luggage compartment can achieve an incredible 743 litres of storage
space. To provide you with even more flexibility, all
seats in the second and third rows are equipped with
ISOFIX brackets. Another safety highlight: a display
enables you to check whether all of your passengers
have their seatbelts fastened.
