I created abstract line, circle and
square drawings from my own
photographs to demonstrate
the abstraction found in our
everyday realities. These are
juxtaposed with quotations
showing how we use the words
line, circle and square in
our language, together with
quotations about abstraction
and reality in art.
This project was inspired by
the exhibition Adventrures of
the Black Square shown at
the Whitechapel Gallery 15th
Janaury to 6th April 2015
and the related social media
campaign #abstracteverywhere
which encouraged people to
photograph adstract shapes
discovered in the environment
around them.
