Atlantic 10 Conference – Developmental Camp
This camp has multi-purposes:
1. Improvement for current staff members from the 3 rd Tier of the Atlantic 10
2. Improvement for current staff members of the Patriot League
3. Early Identification for current Div II, III, JuCo, and high school officials
4. Identification for Invitation to and/or Scholarship to the Try Out and
Developmental Camp in Lancaster, PA – July 5 – 8, 2015
5. NEW THIS YEAR: Select officials will be invited to attend the
JULY 26 – 28, 2015 BEST OF MARYLAND – UNDER ARMOUR
HIGH SCHOOL TOURAMENT in lieu of the July 5 – 8 camp unless they
must attend the MEAC Camp which conflicts with this event.
6. Become more visible to the clinicians and the Coordinators.
THIS IS NOT A TRY OUT CAMP AND WILL NOT SERVE IN LIEU OF THE JULY 4 – 8 CAMP
The camp will be conduct in one facility. Officials will be grouped in a team of officials
with a Team Leader. Each official will work 3 games on Friday and Saturday and 2 – 3
games on Sunday. There are only 10 courts with 11 game sessions on Friday and
Saturday and 6 - 8 on Sunday. Friday and Saturday begin at 8:00 AM and ends after the
8:50 PM game. Sunday will begin at 8:00 AM and end after the 4:10 PM game. This time
will likely be less than stated. Three (3) courts will be games for pay.
Those who have a MEAC REQUIREMENT must contact me directly if you wish to
be considered for the Best of Maryland event and should consider attending both the
July 5 – 8 camp for exposure. This also applies to those selected to participate in the
WNBA D League program.
The camp fee is $250.00. Active Developmental Program Officials will only pay $150.00.
Developmental Officials must have worked one pre-season game and attended at least one
regular season game and participated in the pre and post game discussions in the
Atlantic 10.
Applications with payment received by February 25 will receive a discounted rate of
$225.00.
The camp is limited to the first 72 officials who apply. Last year there was a waitlist of 25+

classroom and rules sessions. REMEMBER THAT ONLY 72 SPOTS EXIST.
