SUMMER CAMP 2015 Children ages 3-5 come join us for a fun-filled summer camp experience sponsored by Perry Highway Lutheran Church Pre-Kindergarten. The cost is $150 with reservations due by May 1, 2015. Neighborhood friends may also register for summer camp by calling the school at 724-935-4605 by May 5th. Bring a picnic lunch every day and be ready to join in the fun with: Monday………….Adventure Day Wednesday…..Field Day Friday…………….Water Play Day **Children must be toilet trained** Dates and times are as follows: Mon, Wed, Fri: June 8, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19 From 9:00 am – 3:00 pm A registration form is attached. Classes are filled on a first-come basis. Please place registrations and fees in the tuition trays in your child’s classroom. These will not be accepted in the church office. We look forward to having fun at Summer Camp! Dear Parents, We are truly looking forward to welcoming all of our campers both new and returning this summer. There are just a few details we would like you to know ahead of time. This year our camp session will be under direction of Evan Snyder, Director of Music Ministries here at PHLC. “I have a strong background in the church both musically and working with young people. Assisting with the 3 year and 4/5 Pre-K programs this school year, I’ve met many of the kids and look forward to seeing them again this summer along with any friends whom they would like to invite to join us!” Here are some of the things you need to know: Monday is Adventure Day! We will be exploring the areas surrounding the church learning about wildlife and the nature that God has created around us! -campers should wear closed toed shoes, preferably athletic sneakers and some sort of hat! Wednesday is Field Day! We will have a Field Day that will also take place outdoors. Relay races and a variety of lawn games will be set up around the church property for the children to enjoy! Athletic shoes are encouraged. Friday is Water Day! Water balloon toss and other fun-filled water themed games will take place. Be sure to wear sunscreen! -campers should wear bathing suits under their play clothes to camp on Fridays. PLEASE NOTE campers may still be wet from water play upon pick up! Lunch will be eaten outside and when packing your child’s lunch, please take note that we are a peanut-free and tree nut-free school. ***ALL CAMPERS must be toilet trained*** Suggested items your child should bring to camp: Sunscreen: It is advised that you apply sunscreen to your child before their arrival. If you would like sunscreen to be reapplied throughout the day, provide it in your child’s bag and we will gladly do so. Hat Spare change of clothes EpiPen: If your child has a known allergy Bottled Water: Please send a bottle of water with your child’s name on it in addition to their drink for lunch so that they stay hydrated during play. **Please write your child’s name on anything they bring to camp. **PLEASE NOTE that the cost of registration for camp is $150 for the session.
