As you know, health and fitness programs are gaining popularity across our
nation, but especially here in Bexar County, more work needs to be done in
promoting physical health and wellness. We also see a need for hope---amid
family strife, emotional struggles, and increased isolation among youth.
How can we make a positive difference in our community?
We are writing to ask you to consider becoming a “Strong Sponsor” of this
year’s I Will Finish Strong 5K Run / Fun Walk happening Saturday, March
28, 2015 at Raymond Russell Park in San Antonio.
This one-of-a-kind event promotes physical and spiritual wellness, while
serving as a fundraiser for the work of Pilgrim Center of Hope, a 501(c)(3)
non-profit ministry in San Antonio. For over 13 years, Pilgrim Center of Hope
has organized annual conferences in our city to educate senior citizens
and women and men of all ages regarding their unique dignity and calling,
inspiring them to apply their gifts and faith to renew families and society.
We have seen marriages saved and strengthened, single parents
encouraged, seniors and young adults renewed in purpose, and so much
more!
These events come at a cost of hundreds of thousands of dollars to our
non-profit organization. Will you partner with us in strengthening our
