Important Notice for Online Admission IMPORTANT NOTICE (On-line Admission 2015-2016) Applicants are advised to note that: Submission of on-line application does not ensure admission. This online-application is meant for provisional admission only. The final admission is subject to approval by University of Calcutta. It is assumed that the information furnished in this application is true to the best of the knowledge of the applicant. In case of any false / misleading information, the application will be summarily rejected. It is also assumed that the applicant is applying voluntarily on his / her own discretion without being influenced by any third party. Applicants willing to seek admission must commit to follow the rules and regulations of the college and the University of Calcutta, which may be amended from time to time. In regard to admission, the decision of the Online-Admission Committee / College Authority will be deemed to be final and no queries will be entertained. The college authority reserves the rights of admission / rejection of any applicant without assigning any reason whatsoever. In case of fraudulent activities / misconduct, observed even at a later stage, a candidate / student may be debarred from the college at the sole discretion of the College Authority and legal action may be initiated. Guideline for Online Admission 2015 - 16 ON-LINE APPLICATION FORM FILL UP: After reading the instructions carefully, fill up the on-line application form and submit. In particular you should check up the ADMISSION CRITERIA for the course of your choice to ensure that you are eligible for the course. You should also note the IMPORTANT DATES in regard to the admission process. On submission of the on-line application, the system will generate a printable version of the filled up application form (pdf file, 1 page) and a printable bank challan (pdf file, 1 page) having 3 identical parts called `Bank copy’, `College copy’ and `Applicant’s copy’ . Although you can retrieve these files later we recommend that you save both files. PAYMENT OF PROCESSING FEE: Take a print out of the bank challan, carry it to any branch of the UCO BANK and pay the processing fee of Rs. 150/= (Rupees One Hundred Fifty only) between 01.06.2015 and 19.06.2015(within Banking Hours). The bank will return the Applicant’s copy to you as a receipt against your payment. Make sure that YOUR COPY is stamped and signed by the bank. Please retain this receipt for future references until the process of admission ends. CHECK YOUR FEE STATUS: The system will acknowledge the receipt of your payment. The LIST OF APPLICANTS whose payment have been recorded will be published on the college website. If your name does not appear on this list, contact the college office on 23.06.2015 between 11:00 AM and 04:00 PM with the your copy ( Applicant’s Copy) of duly -stamped challan receipt in original. CHECK THE “MERIT LIST” along with ‘Counselling Schedule’: The merit list will be published on the college website. Check the merit list to see whether you have qualified. APPEAR FOR COUNSELING: If you have qualified in the merit list, present yourself at the college on the stipulated “DATE & TIME OF COUNSELING” for your chosen stream/subject with the following documents: o Hard Copy (printout) of the submitted application form, duly signed by you and your guardian. o Two stamp sized photographs, one pasted on the application form in the appropriate box provided there. o All Mark-sheets, Certificates, Age proof in original and photocopies attached with the printed application form. o Original documents in support of caste (for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates) or physical disability (for person with disability) etc along with photocopies. o The bank challan duly signed and stamped by the bank on receipt of your processing fee. GET ENROLLED: If you get a chance in a course of your choice at the counseling session, get yourself enrolled by paying the “ADMISSION FEES”.
