Finalist for Student of the Year 2015
Jorelle Thompson, College of North West London
Jorelle conquered a number of educational challenges prior to joining CNWL
at the age of 14 since when he has thrived. He soon discovered that he enjoyed
‘hands on’ education and excelled in his 16-18 multi-trade course.
Having been ‘fast-tracked’ for his Level 1 Diploma he displayed a flair for
fibrous plastering and this led to him achieving an apprenticeship with his
current employer Imhotep Plaster Mouldings Ltd of Uxbridge.
“Jorelle was a pleasure to teach and a pleasure to work with.
He enjoys a challenge and has become an accomplished plasterer.”
