THE BEACH SHUTTLE RETURNS
Catch a ride on the free Playa Vista Beach Shuttle this
summer. The convenient ride service begins May 22nd, just
in time for Memorial Day weekend and runs through
September 27th to take you where you want to go this
summer. Explore eclectic shops in Venice, stop by Fisherman’s
Village in Marina del Rey and hop on the WaterBus for an
all-day adventure. It’s easy to see all the Westside has to
offer when you’re not searching for a place to park. And

are making big moves, earning our community the nicknames–
Silicon Beach and Silicon Valley South. In fact, Playa Vista is
becoming one of the most important tech hubs not only in
Los Angeles but in America! We’re excited to welcome these
creatives and we can’t wait to see all the new possibilities they’ll
bring to the community.
In addition to The Campus, which includes YouTube Space
LA, Facebook, 72andSunny, Belkin and more, our neighbors at
Playa Jefferson and The Reserve along Jefferson Boulevard also
offer open-concept creative offices to inspire collaboration.
These campuses are currently home to media and tech
powerhouses like Microsoft, TMZ, Sony Computer Entertainment,

The Beach Shuttle offers free and convenient rides to your favorite Westside
hot spots.
»»Conserve water by not letting faucets run, use your dishwasher
only when it’s full and take shorter showers.
»»Get to know the area while volunteering for a beach clean-up
or a habitat restoration event at the Ballona Wetlands.
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT Update
Construction on Seabluff Flats will begin soon at the current retail parking lot at Seabluff
Drive and Discovery Creek. This new neighborhood will feature four stories of residential
condominium homes with a fifth-level parking mezzanine internal to the building. Similar
in height to other condominiums in the area, including Tempo at 69’ above mean sea
level (AMSL) and The Lofts at 84’ AMSL, Seabluff Flats will be 73’ AMSL.
In addition to subterranean residential parking for the 75 homes in this new
neighborhood, the building’s parking structure will include all of the required parking
for the retail development and offer a significant amount of guest parking for the three
buildings that currently use the existing lot for guest parking. In fact, all of the required
parking currently provided in the existing lot will be accommodated for in the new
structure.
To provide ample parking during construction, retail parking will move to a temporary lot
just one block south of the current lot. Construction of the new temporary parking lot is
underway. Once the parking lot is complete, work on the new building is anticipated to
start this fall with projected completion in 2017.
