Pleasant Hill Residents
Have Three Free Cleanups
R
epublic Services provides free to residential
customers in Pleasant Hill three cleanups each
year, two of which are on-call, and the third citywide.
This flyer offers guidelines for your citywide
spring cleanup which, this year, is scheduled for the
week of June 15-19 (see calendar) and includes the
recycling of batteries and cell phones. Our crews will
pick up your extra refuse on the same day as your
regular garbage service.
To ensure a smooth cleanup, please follow the
accompanying guidelines.
Customers can also schedule two on-call cleanups. Cleanups offer customers the chance to dispose
of items too large for garbage carts.
Recycling Yard Waste and Wood
During this year’s citywide spring cleanup, we
will again collect yard waste and wood for recycling.
Please see the accompanying instructions for
yard waste and wood recycling in this flyer.
The maximum amount of cleanup material including yard waste and wood is 2 cubic yards.
Recycling Household Batteries
You may leave out household batteries for recycling during this year's citywide spring cleanup.
Please see the instructions in this flyer to ensure
that your cell phones and batteries are recycled safely.

PLEASE NOTE: You may leave up to a maximum 2
cubic yards of refuse (fourteen 32-gallon bags) on
your cleanup day. Total includes yard waste and
wood.
