ATTENTION: Grades 2nd - 12th School and public library staff and Literacy Educators!! Camp Read-A-Lot 2015! The Plum Creek Library and Pioneerland Library Systems along with SAMMIE are once again sponsoring the Camp Read-A-Lot workshop full of fun and education for teachers, media specialists, homeschooler educators, and public library staff. Camp Read focuses on literacy and literature for today’s young people and designed to help educators and librarians of students in grades 2-12 enhance students reading experiences. Day 1 is scheduled for grades 2-5 educators and library staff on August 4th - 8:30 am - 4:00 pm Day 2 is scheduled for grades 6-12 educators and library staff on August 5th - 8:30 am - 4:00 pm Ramada – 1500 E. College Drive, Marshall, MN 56258 Continuing Ed credit will apply for those who complete the required reading assignments, completed required reporting and attend the workshop. Literary Book Talks will be conducted by Kathy Baxter on both days. Featured Author on August 4th will be: Mary Casanova Featured Author on August 5th will be: Will Weaver There will be book signings on both days.
