Subject: Filling up the vacancy of Director (Project) on deputation basis.
National Rural Roads Development Agency (NRRDA), invites applications from eligible Officers
from the Organization/PSUs /Autonomous Bodies of Central/State Governments to fill up the post of
Director (Projects) as per details.

2. The educational qualification, experience, age, etc. for the post are as under:

Rs. 8,700 p.m. with 3 years regular service as S.E.

The length of experience may be relaxed by the committee if the candidate is
otherwise found suitable post.
(i)
A Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University
/Institution.
(ii)
Should have minimum 10 years of experience on a responsible post in
Central/ State Government/Autonomous in the field of project appraisal,
implementation, monitoring and evaluation of projects including
management of Project funded by Agency like World Bank, Asian
Development Bank etc. and fully conversent with process, technical
specification etc. in the roads /bridges construction.
Or
Candidate from teaching profession can also apply provided he/she is
holding a teaching post in Transport
Engineering and he/she
is in Pay Band -4 with academic grade pay Rs. 9000/- with minimum two
years regular service in the grade.
(iii)
Maximum Age
Chief Engineer (civil) or equivalent - in the grade pay of Rs. 10,000/- p.m.
in pay band 4(Rs. 37,400-67,000)
58 years as on date of closing date.
3. The eligible officer fulfilling above requirements may apply through proper channel on prescribed
format addressed to the Director (F&A), National Rural Roads Development Agency, 5th Floor, 15
NBCC Tower, Bhikaji Cama Place, New Delhi-110 066. The last date of receiving application in
NRRDA is 6th July, 2015. The application should carry (i) cadre clearance, (ii) vigilance clearance
certificate and certified copies of annual confidential reports of last 3 years, (satisfactory working
performance certificate from the Cadre controlling authority in case of non availability of ACRs, of last
three years performance).

PERIOD OF DEPUTATION
The period of deputation will be initially for two years extendable further as per Govt.
of India orders issued from time to time.

2.
Grant of Additional Increments
Officers on deputation possessing below mentioned higher professional
qualifications than the eligibility mentioned in the relevant recruitment rules shall also
be eligible for grant of additional increments at the following rates in both the cases
of option of pay of deputation post or own pay plus deputation allowance:

Personal Pay
The officers on deputation may be granted personal pay 10% of Basic Pay (including
Grade Pay).

Dearness Allowance, Joining Time pay & Transfer T.A., Children Education
Allowances provident Fund benefits will be applicable as per Central Govt. rules.
5.
Residential Accommodation
The officers coming on deputation shall be entitled to the option either to have
residential accommodation on lease basis (except self lease) subject to prescribed
rental ceilings and payment of licence fees or House Rent Allowance as per Central
Govt. Rules, i.e. 30% of basic pay including Grade Pay.
6.
Transport Facility Allowances
Transport facility will be provided by NRRDA to perform official duties. However the
officers will have the option to opt for transport allowance as per Central Govt.
Rules, in place of transport facilities.
7.
