Dear Symposium Attendee, th We are so happy that you have registered for PMI Nashville’s 10 Annual Symposium! Here is some information that will help make your attendance a rewarding and meaningful experience. Please take the time to review the information before you arrive at the Symposium. If you have any questions, please send them via e-mail to [email protected]. What to Expect Registration begins at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 30 and at 7:30 a.m. on Friday, May 1. A light breakfast will be available both days. The program begins at 8:15 a.m. each day. The education sessions will be on Level 1 of the Nashville Music City Center in the same area as last year. However, this year the Welcome Desk will be on Level 1M, in front of the Davidson Ballroom. The keynote presentations, meals, and snacks will all be held in the Davidson Ballroom. The sponsors will be positioned outside the Davidson Ballroom as well. Easy access between the Education Sessions and the Davidson Ballroom is available via escalator or elevator between Level 1 and Level 1M. Parking The registration fee for the Symposium includes two parking vouchers – one for each day. Parking vouchers will be th provided at check-in. Parking fees are paid only for the MCC Parking garage, which is located on 6 Avenue, between Demonbreum and Korean Veterans Boulevard. No reimbursement will be made for other parking areas, and any lost vouchers cannot be replaced. Hours parked outside of the hours of the Symposium will be your personal expense. Food and Drinks Breakfast and lunch will be provided on Thursday and Friday, as well as snacks during each afternoon break on both days. Water will be available from water stations throughout the venue. If you have special dietary needs that you did not specify when you registered, please email [email protected] ASAP so we can prepare in advance. Internet Access Please note that Internet connectivity will not be available throughout the Symposium area. If you wish to purchase a connection for $14.95 per day, contact the MCC directly. Cell Phones We understand that cell phones are a reality of our lives today but we will remind you from time to time that all phones must be muted throughout the Symposium out of respect for the speakers and other attendees. If you need to take a call, please excuse yourself from the room. You may want to bring a sweater or jacket, as the rooms may be cool. Don’t forget to bring business cards for networking. A notepad and stylus pen will be provided in your Welcome Bag for note taking. We look forward to seeing you at the Symposium!
