The program includes welcoming remarks and acknowledgments by Cynthia A. Torres AB ’80,
MBA ’84, president of the Harvard Alumni Association (HAA); the announcement of Overseer
and HAA Board election results; the presentation of the Harvard Medals; remarks by Drew Gilpin
Faust, president of Harvard University and Lincoln Professor of History; and an address by the
Commencement speaker, Deval Patrick AB ’78, JD ’82, who recently concluded two terms as the
71st governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Family Fun: Animal Adventures
William James Hall, 33 Kirkland Street
This is a presentation of a wide variety of animals (alligators, bunnies, lemurs, etc.).
The handler will bring out one animal at a time, give a presentation about their habitat,
and provide some background and fun facts. After each presentation, the handler will
walk around the room and allow the children to pet/touch the animals.

Join fellow reunioning Harvard and Radcliffe College alumni/ae for a series of TED-style
talks by prominent Harvard faculty members and alumni. These leading scholars will
explore current, on-campus advances in teaching and learning.
Moderated by Michael D. Smith, Edgerley Family Dean of the Faculty of Arts and
Sciences and John H. Finley, Jr. Professor of Engineering and Applied Sciences
Faculty participants include:
Michael Puett, Walter C. Klein Professor of Chinese History in the Department of East
Asian Languages and Civilizations, Chair of the Committee on the Study of Religion
(how ancient philosophy enriches students’ lives)
Elsie M. Sunderland, Associate Professor of Environmental Science and Engineering,
School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and T.H. Chan School of Public
Health (how climate change affects human and ecological health)
Jason Ur, Professor of Archaeology, Director of the Archeology Program, Director of the
Center for Geographic Analysis, Project Director for the Erbil Plain Archaeological
Survey (archeological, drone-based explorations in the Middle East)

Class of 1995 Gathering (Casual Attire)
Sanders Theatre
Join fellow classmates for coffee and an interactive morning program hosted by John
Berman ‘95, Co-anchor of CNN's morning show Early Start. The program will feature a
conversation with David Malan, Gordon McKay Professor of the Practice of Computer
Science, who has transformed CS50 into the most popular class on campus, followed by
personal reflections from a group of classmates including Robert Carlock ’95, Paul
DePodesta ’95, Melissa Francis ’95, Henry Nguyen ’95, Kate Darnton Stepanian ’95,
and James White ‘95. Other classmates in attendance will be asked to share their
reflections as well. The morning will also include a surprise guest appearance by
someone special to the Class of 1995.

A family-style picnic giving you a chance to catch-up with classmates and their families. The Class
of 1995 has a designated section of the Murr Tennis Courts reserved with places to eat and
socialize, as well as activities for younger children. There will also be a family fun zone at the
Gordon Indoor Track with inflatable rides, Guitar Hero, Dance Dance Revolution, games, and
more for all ages.
