2015 Fall Youth Programs
Academy
For Boys & Girls, Ages 8-9
This program is for the more advanced player that is looking to make soccer a sport they play through
high school & beyond. The Academy program follows strict guidelines set by the Iowa Soccer Association
that puts an emphasis on creating a playing environment that is more conducive to the individual’s development. The Academy is designed for players that have shown they are superior, either athletically, skillfully, or both, to other players. There are no tryouts for the Academy Program. The cost for the Academy
Program is $495. Also, If your child played in the PSC Iowa Developmental program this past year there is
a 10% discount available for their first year playing Academy.
Developmental Academy
For Boys & Girls, Age 6-7
The Developmental Academy is for 6 & 7 year-olds who want the more intensive instructional environment of day-to-day professional coaching & are more advanced, both soccer wise & athletically than their
peers. Each team is assigned one of PSC’s professional coaches & is trained at a player-to-coach ratio of
10-to-1. The program is open to any 6-7 year old boy or girl. Program details are on the website. The cost
of the program is $250 for the full year, $145 for the fall only.
Registration is open now for both Academy Programs for the Fall.
Basic Programs
Developmental
For Boys & Girls, Ages 4-7
The Basic Developmental Program is for 4-7 year olds interested in learning & improving their soccer
skills in a fun, safe, & exciting environment. The Basic Program is focused on introducing new players to
the game of soccer while giving them a solid fundamentals foundation to build upon as their interest in
soccer grows. Program details are on the website. Cost of the program is $55.
Recreational
For Boys & Girls, Ages 8-12
The Recreational Program is for 8-12 year olds interested in continuing to play soccer but not wanting to
progress to playing full, competitive soccer. The Recreational Program is focused on continuing to teach
players the game of soccer while giving them a solid fundamental foundation. Program details are on the
website. Cost of the program is $55.
