Global Research and Analysis Team (GReAT)
In 2008 Kaspersky Lab established its Global Research and Analysis Team (GReAT) to lead its anti-threat
intelligence, research and innovation, both internally and externally. Nowadays this elite group of 40 worldleading security experts is active in all regions.
GReAT discovered and dissected the most sophisticated threats, including Flame, Gauss, miniFlame,
RedOctober, NetTraveler, Icefog, Careto/The Mask, Darkhotel, Regin, Cloud Atlas, Carbanak etc.
Cooperation with law enforcements and international security community
 The company cooperates with international organizations (such as INTERPOL, Europol), national and
regional law enforcement agencies (such as The National High Tech Crime Unit (NHTCU) of the
Netherlands’ Police Agency and City of London Police), and Computer Emergency Response Teams
(CERTs) worldwide;
 Kaspersky Lab has actively supported INTERPOL’s launch of a new Digital Forensics Laboratory as

International Advisory Board
 In February 2014 Kaspersky Lab announced the establishment of International Advisory Board,
gathering world-known cybersecurity experts, to provide the company with strategic advice about the
IT security market;
 Howard A. Schmidt, former Cyber Advisor to both President Bush and President Obama, serves as
the chairman of the International Advisory Board and is joined by Bruce Schneier, Jae-Woo Lee, Latha
Reddy, Baroness Pauline Neville-Jones, Norbert Pohlmann and Whitfield Diffie.
