Project Manager at Project Dirt Based at Project Dirt offices in Kings Cross with regular outreach work across London and the UK £25,000 – £30,000p.a. (dependent on experience) Full-time (part-time working may be available to exceptional candidates) Project Dirt (www.projectdirt.com) is looking for a super organised, flexible candidate with a can-do attitude to oversee the coordination and growth of our community and client project work. As the largest community social network in the UK, Project Dirt links together grassroots projects enabling them to connect, resource and promote themselves. We also work with an increasing number of public and private sector clients to run community engagement programmes and projects. With an increasing number of client projects to run we’re now seeking a new superstar to join our small and friendly team. This newly created role involves a mix of working directly with community groups in the field, as well as office-based work. The Position As might be expected working within a small team, there is the opportunity to get involved with many aspects of the day-to-day running of the organisation. In particular you will be working closely with the Founders to plan and coordinate the delivery of client projects. Examples of client projects you will be involved with include: creating a volunteering tool for Team London, running the Camden in Bloom campaign alongside Camden Council, as well as a variety of different client CSR projects. We are currently working with a number of corporates to place workday volunteers and pro-bono advisers at projects with particular needs. Initially, this will make up a large part of this role, with the Project Manager being responsible for making those introductions, hand-holding both parties through the organisation process and collecting the impact and stories from the days. Your Skills & Experience ESSENTIAL DESIRABLE Incredible organisational skills and ability to work across multiple projects at one time, whilst maintaining attention to detail. Experience of curating and creating engaging material and newsletters. Excellent communication skills and confidence. This role requires you to communicate with very diverse groups of people and you will be expected to work professionally with all groups. Confident with use of social media, especially Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Demonstrable leadership skills as the role entails a large degree of Experience in managing volunteers with good connections with independent working, as well as leading and motivating different existing voluntary organisations. teams. Flexible and positive attitude, your tasks will differ from day-to-day. Social impact collection and evaluation experience. Experience in managing and leading projects as you will need to organise people and activities in a structured and effective way. Experience in running community events and/or corporate volunteer workdays. IT proficient, and confident with using a range of IT applications Proficient in design, either web (UX, UI) or on paper. Willing to take on significant responsibility within a small company, Working knowledge of Project Dirt platform. there’ll be lots of opportunities to put your ideas into practise.
