Beinecke and William S. Beinecke, then President and now the retired Chairman of The Sperry and Hutchinson Company. In 1983, The Prospect Hill Foundation merged with the Frederick W. Environment The Prospect Hill Foundation’s environmental program will target issues related to coastal waters and oceans in the mid-Atlantic and southern New England regions from 2010 to 2014.* Juvenile Justice The Prospect Hill Foundation seeks to reform the juvenile justice system in New York. From 2010 to 2015, the Foundation will fund 1) advocacy efforts that promote policies and practices that are fair, effective, and appropriate for youth and 2) capacity building and promotion of community-based alternatives in New York.** Nuclear Disarmament & Nonproliferation The Prospect Hill Foundation seeks to further nuclear arms control and ultimately abolish nuclear weapons through support for policy analysis, research and advocacy. The program will focus its funding to advance support for multi-lateral agreements and the use of existing international institutions created to limit the proliferation of nuclear weapons.
