Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s), Providence Secondary School is accepting
enrollment for the Academic school year 2015-2016. Acceptance is based
on a full year commitment, under only extraordinary circumstances will the
Board of Management refund tuition fees to families who have to withdraw
their child before the end of the school year.
Please note that the Secondary School will not be able to offer any Bursary
assistance to families.

What are the Fees?
Academic Year 2015-2016
New Students
Fees for Academic 2015-2016 are below. Please note Fees for Academic 2015-2016 have
not been set by the Board.
PROCESSING FEE
- Administrative cost

APPLICATION FEE
- Due on acceptance of placement at the school

- One time fee applicable to all students
This fee covers the following items: computers, physical education apparatus,
printers, furniture and fixtures, track and field (to be built), other items as required.
TUITION FEES
-Payable in three installments.

$4,200/term
Your tuition fee covers the following: all academic curriculum, early morning drop off
7:30 am and evening pick up 4pm and extra curricular activities
1.) Term I fees and Capital Levy due upon acceptance
2.) Term II fees are due July 1st, 2015
3.) Term III fees are due September 1st, 2015
SURCHARGE FEE
There is a 25% surcharge on all tuition fees for students who are not citizens or
residents of Barbados or Caricom. For Barbados applicants, the child must have
either immigrant status, permanent residency or citizenship. These same conditions also
apply for Caricom student applications.
ITEMS TO BE BILLED SEPARATELY
The following items will be billed separately: Text books, Uniforms, Field trips and
Private lessons.

The following is a tentative schedule for the Academic School Year 2015-2016. Please note that the
Board of Directors has not finalized the dates.
Term I
September 2nd, 2015 to December 12th, 2015
Term I break October 16th and October 17th, 2015
Term II
January 5th, 2016 to March 27th, 2016
Term II break February 12th and February 13th, 2016
Term III
April 13th, 2016 to June 25th, 2016
Term III break May 21st and May 22nd, 2016
Please note that Providence Secondary School’s calendar is based on the school starting on the first
Tuesday in September and ending the fourth Thursday in June.
Academic 2015-2016 Calendar has not been finalized by the Board.
